Tirana, June 7, 2018 - Levi’s Albania today announced that it has completed the acquisition of Social DNA assets. Social DNA assets which include the intellectual property, customer database, social media channels and the website will now be owned by Levi’s Albania. The purchase price is undisclosed.
Social DNA has established a strong social media following of more than 40,000 followers as well as has a growing website traffic. Social DNA will stop releasing new collection under the new ownership. This will come at an advantage for Levis Albania to enhance brand awareness and connect with potential consumers in order to penetrate Albanian market.
Social DNA Managing Director Geri Cupi said, “We’re very excited for Social DNA to join the Levi’s Albania family. We recognize the potential in combining our market knowledge and established customer base to enhance Levi’s offerings for consumers in Albania and beyond.”
This acquisition has been done in light of the first Levis Albania store opening in Toptani Shopping Center in Tirana, this July, adjacent to Patrizia Rigotti and Adidas, and will feature men’s and women’s ranges plus a selection of accessories.
